Research Interests
Late in 2008 I am waiting for publication by the University of Toronto Press of my book The Fluid Envelope of Our Planet, which deals with the historical development of physical oceanography as a science. I am also involved in a number of research projects on the history of the marine sciences in Canada and elsewhere.
