This annual lecture series was established in 1999 to honour the memory of the late Gordon A. Riley, Professor of Oceanography and Director of the Institute of Oceanography (now Department of Oceanography). Invited speakers are chosen and hosted by the Department of Oceanography Student Association (DOSA).
