Purpose
This joint seminar series, open to the public, is a part of the research and education programmes in our Department. Topics span all of Oceanography, with a non-specialist approach.
Location and time
Room 3655, Oceanography Wing, Life Sciences Centre, Fridays at 3:00 p.m, unless noted otherwise.
Format
Talks are at a research level, but the speaker usually spends 20 minutes or more introducing the work at a generalist level. Graduating students are required to give a seminar before they move on.
How to volunteer to give a talk
Phone or email the Co-ordinator. It helps to provide a list of keywords, and a brief abstract, in addition to the title. If you are visiting the area, or know of a visitor coming, please contact one of the organizers.
